Heaven is Waiting for You
Do you ever find yourself thinking about heaven? What will it be like? Some people have an idea of heaven that includes puffy pink clouds filled with chubby babies playing harps. Listen to Steve present what the Bible has to say about what heaven is like – a perfect place. A place you don’t want to miss out on!
Be with Me
There is something special about family reunion, it is a time where you can be surrounded by the ones you love and care about. You are able to be in the same place at the same time and enjoy each other. Can you imagine the Heavenly reunion that is going to take place. To finally be able to see our creator face to face! That thought puts a smile on my face. Christ longs for the day that we can be face to face and dwell together. Be encouraged with this sermon on reunions.
Take This Cup From Me
This sermon is different from anything you’ve heard before! Steve talks about the wrath of God in Revelation 14:10. There’s no mercy mixed into it! In Matthew 26 Jesus is wrestling with a cup. What was this cup? Steve talks about these verses in the light of a very personal experience with his own son. This sermon will touch your heart!
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
Earth’s Final Crisis and the Mark of the Beast
Jesus is the foundation of the three angels messages. The mark of the beast is part of the three angels messages. There are many speculations as to what the mark of the beast is. You find many books and movies talking about it. Their theories are usually related to something technological – but when we read the Bible, we understand that it is something different!
The three angels messages are like a puzzle – and the pieces are all there. In this sermon you will learn how you can avoid receiving the marks of the beast. You may have heard a similar sermon before, but this is an important message worth listening to again!

Sanctuary Secrets
Can you imagine what it would be like to sacrifice an animal for your sins? What would it be like to be sitting outside praying while the high priest has the blood offering into the most Holy place? This would definitely change my perspective of sin and forgiveness.
During this meeting we are looking at the secrets of the sanctuary, which holds the keys to understanding the end times as well at God’s character more fully, His love, mercy and justice. Listen to find out more about the plan of salvation.

The Battle Over the Character of God in the End Time
As Christians, it’s important to know whom we worship. We need to worship God for who He is, and not for who we think He is. It can be hard to have a balanced view on God’s character. The belief that God does not punish is becoming more popular today. God is merciful, but at the same time He is just. How do these two character traits balance out? Many people struggle with the wrath of God. They wonder what the wrath of God means. This sermon will provide answers for questions like these!
Harry Potter and Witch Craft: The Menace Beneath the Magic
Jesus used stories (parables) extensively throughout his ministry. Stories have a way to teach us lessons that we might not otherwise learn. They can convey imagines and ideas that have lasting effects on our character and personality.
The number one story of this generation is the Harry Potter series. What kind of effects does this story series have on our generation. Good or bad? There are many controversies over this popular book and movie series and during this presentation you will learn about some questions that can help to see through the story and in to the principals and morals. What does the reader learn? Listen and find out for yourself.

Satan’s Masterpiece of Deception
Spiritualism is going mainstream these days. It’s not something reserved for “specially interested” people any longer. Revelation 16:14-16 speaks of demonic spirits going around the earth. There are several TV shows, movies and books dealing with spiritualism, involving mediums. These things may seem innocent, but they’re connected with the real thing. Never has there been a time in world history when there has been so much spiritualism readily available. In Deuteronomy we’re told to stay away from such things. Listen to find out what the Bible says about spiritualism.

From Hollywood to Heaven
Steve Wohlberg finally arrived on Wednesday night, two days late. He said he’s never had such a rough time traveling before. For his first meeting he shared his testimony – from Hollywood to heaven. It’s fascinating how each person has there own unique story of how they came to know Christ!

The centre of the middle
Have you ever wondered what God’s will for you life is? This is a question that many young people ask – and they want the answer NOW!
What about just “being the will of God”?
Think about it! Instead of constantly trying to find out what God’s will for your life may be, just be what God wants you to be. Be God’s will. Be in God, abide in Him!
If you want to know more about how you can “be the will of God”, this sermon is for you!

Victory on the battlefield
In Luke 9 we read about Jesus sending out the apostles. He called the twelve together, and then Luke says that Jesus “gave them power and authority”.
What is authority? What is power?
Authority = the right to act.
Power = the ability to act.
We may have the power to do something, but that doesn’t necessarily mean we have the authority to do it.
Does Satan have authority to do everything he does? No, you may say. But could it be that we grant him the authority?
Listen to this sermon to learn more about authority and power, and find out how you can tap into the same power source that Jesus used!

My friend gravity
One of Tuesday’s sermons dealt with how to share the gospel. But how does the law fit in with the gospel? If we are made righteous by faith, then why do we need a law? If there was anything nailed to the cross apart from Jesus, what was it?
The laws of God act like a gear system for the universe. There are laws of nature, laws of gravity. Laws of – yes – you name it. However, people in today’s society try to throw the law away. They don’t want it.
Joy is impossible when we are at odds with God’s law! Listen to find out how you can find God’s law in the plan of salvation!

The fourth angel and the harvest
Do you believe in angels? The belief in angels is sweeping over the world these days – though the belief may differ from the Christian view of angels.
Most Adventists are familiar with the three angels in Revelation 14. The three angels of Revelation 14? There are actually six angels in Revelation 14. These last three angels are not given as much attention as the first three.
The fourth angel proclaim that the harvest is ripe. God is interested in the harvest. Not the harvest of barley or wheat, no, God is interested in the harvest of people. God is interested in people!
How can we be ready for the harvest? How can we help others be ready for the harvest?
Towards the end of this sermon there’s a powerful story of a man’s conversion: a seed planted by a little girl through a simple prayer.

You are out of your mind
Are you going to eat rice and garbonzo beans for the rest of your life? What is it that motivates missionaries, the move from hearing Gods call to answering it.
Paul was told that he was out of his mind (Acts 26) and that his way of thinking was making him insane. Paul met Jesus on the road to Damascus. Jesus gave him a clear commission to reach the gentiles. He answered the call.
When you begin to follow the call of Christ, there are people who think that you might be out of your mind. Last night we heard a powerful testimony of a persons call to mission. It will inspire you to answer your call. To follow the call isn't always the easiest, but it is rewarding. May you be blessed on your journey.

How to share the Gospel so others will believe
“Are you done? How would you rate your Gospel sharing skills on a scale of 1-10? “This was the questions of a bold Korean that sat next to Mr. Parks in an airplane.
There is power in the gospel. The gospel never comes to an end. Paul calls it the mystery of God.
Sharing the gospel is only as easy as it is in you. The more we know the gospel the easier it is to flow out of us. How familiar are you with the Gospel of Jesus. If you rated yourself on a scale of 1-10, what would your score be? We should spend our time on having a perfect 10 score.
This session is in a bible study structure that will help to explain the Gospel of Jesus - so that it can explode out of you like breathing.

The Magnificent Jesus
Kissing is quite popular in Bible lands. You are invited to come to a Bible land and get kissed.
Kissing is a biblical greeting. Paul speaks about greeting each other with a kiss 5 times in the New Testament. There is a great sense of community when people greet with a kiss. In Bible lands there is a kiss of honor that is exchanged between the younger to the older as a sign of respect.
Leviticus 19:32 talks about respect for God. How would you greet the King of the Universe? Listen here for the full story.

This Book in your hands
The Bible is a source of encouragement and hope. At times we here miracle of how the Bible is preserved through fires, with no signs of being burned. Isaiah wrote that God’s word does not return to God empty (Is 55:11). God’s word has the power to create something out of nothing.
Words have power. They generate thoughts inside of people. If you see the word “elephant” – what do you see in your mind? When God’s word comes out of His mouth, it creates something. When God’s word is read it creates something that wasn’t there before!
What can you do with your Bible? Six things:
1. Read the word
2. Meditate on the word
3. Study the word
4. Teach the word
5. Memorize the word
6. Hear the word
To find out more – listen to the sermon!

Become the devils worst nightmare
What are you doing with your hands?
What is the value of your hands?
We constantly find ourselves doing things with our hands. At the shopping mall you see people flipping through magazines with their hands. They flip through CDs with their hands. They use the hands to look through racks of clothes.
Who benefits from what you do with your hands? God? Satan?
Our hands help us carry out our purpose in life. Salomon, the wise man, writes that “whatever your hands find to do – do it with all your might”! It was Jesus’ hands that were nailed to the cross. It was Jesus’ hands that caused so much stress for the Pharisees.
God has mighty plans for your hands! Listen to the sermon and hear some inspiring stories of how God can use human hands.

Getting what the prophet got
The theme for the Inspiration Week is “From Hollywood to the Holy Word”. That is, stepping from death into life. If you’ve experienced spiritual drought, open your Bible and drink from the water of life.
Size matters to humans. We don’t like being short – we want to be tall. Where are the spiritual giants of today? Where are the Moodys, the Spurgons, the Whites of today? Are we “spiritual pygmies”?
It would be nice to have the spiritual power of Moses or Elijah! Power to teach. Power to heal. Power to preach the gospel!
Power to know God!
What do you want in your spiritual life? Do you want what the prophets had? How did the prophet get what they had?
Find out by listening to this sermon.

Monday morning
It’s early Monday morning, the sky is blue and the sun is shining. Lots of people arrived yesterday with their tents and campers, but we’re still waiting for a few more to come. One of those we’re waiting for is Steve Wohlberg – one of the main speakers. He was supposed to arrive this morning, but due to bad weather in Washington, where he had a layover, he will be one day delayed. So Mr. Parks will get to do a lot of speaking the first two days!

We sincerely hope that as many as possible will make it to the Inspiration Week 2008 – but we do understand that not all will. We will therefore try something new this year with this blog. We will do our best to make the meetings available online throughout the week, give you some of the stories, and show you some pictures.
Enjoy!
